BKK Summer Camp 2019

The British Kyokushinkai Karate Summer Camp was held in Dunmow, Essex, United Kingdom from 15 to 18 August 2019

150 participants from United Kingdom, Ireland, Jersey (Channel Islands), Kuwait, Israel, France, Netherlands attended this year under the leadership of Hanshi Steve Arneil (10th Dan), Shihan David Pickthall (7th Dan), Shihan Liam Keaveney (7th Dan), Shihan Terry Prescott (6th Dan), Shihan Christian Seal (5th Dan), Sensei Kenny Jarvis (3rd Dan), Were the instructors for senior groups and Sensei Chris Davies (4th Dan), Sensei Wai Cheung (4th Dan) with the assistance of Shihan Janine Davies (6th Dan) were the instructors for Junior groups.

Students who attended the British Karate Kyokushinkai Summer Camp had the opportunity to train with the World Class instructors in all aspects of Kyokushin Karate – including Kumite (Fighting), Kihon (Basics), Kata, Self Defence, and fitness. Led by the founder of the IFK & BKK Hanshi Steve Arneil, camp students had the benefit of learning from the highest level instructors within the British Kyokushin Karate organization.

Participants of the British Karate Kyokushinkai Summer Camp also had the opportunity to attempt a black belt dan grade under the guidance of Hanshi Steve Arneil, Shihan Liam Keaveney, Shihan Alex Kerrigan, and Shihan David Pickthall.
