11th IFK Kyokushin Uruguay Nationals Unite 100 Competitors

The 11th edition of the IFK Kyokushin Uruguay National Tournament took place on Sunday, October 5th, marking another important step in the growth and development of Kyokushin in Uruguay.

This year’s event placed a special emphasis on the formative and educational aspects of Kyokushin, encouraging the participation of as many students as possible. The initiative proved to be a great success — 100 competitors from Montevideo, Salto, San Carlos, Mercedes, Dolores, Palmitas, and Cardona took part, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and the true spirit of the martial art.

Throughout the competition, athletes tested their skills across four modalitiesKumite against a sand-bag, Clicker, Kumite, and Kata — each showcasing not only technical ability but also strong potential for future progress.

The referee team, who underwent continuous training during the year, had the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice and successfully managed the event with professionalism and fairness.
