The 6th. All UK Open Karate Tournament

The 6th. All UK Open Karate Tournament

took place in Glasgow last Saturday April 13th. Teams from all over the UK took part along with Irish, Italian, Polish, German and Russian fighters.

A team from the Irish Kyokushin Organisation’s Clonmel Dojo was among those who fought.

The Irish Kyokushin Organisation was represented by Lukasz Smykowski, Oliver Solarski, Antoni Horan, Filip Miklaszewski and Nicol Richter under Sensei Maciej Solarski.

After some hard fought matches Nicol Richter took her place on the winner’s podium with 2nd place in the Girls 8-9 years Kumite and Filip Miklaszewski earned the 3rd place trophy in the boys 12-13 years Kumite.

Oliver Solarski, Lukasz Smykowski and Antoni Horan they fought very well, gaining new experience on their way of karate.

Congratulations to all fighters who took part and well done to the some great results! OSU!
