The next edition of SENSHI awaits us. The international fight nights will offer 10 exciting battles for the SENSHI belts under the KWU Full Contact and KWU SENSHI rules.
Fighters from 11 countries will fight for glory in Sofia, which will be broadcast live, both for Bulgaria – on Max Sport 1, Bulgaria ON AIR, and Boec.BG, and for the whole world – live on Boec.com, on the American online TV FITE, Kwunion.com, and Kyokushin Karate News.
Artem Veklich, 20, from Ukraine will make his debut in the first match of the evening. He is a two-time absolute karate champion of Ukraine, number 1 in professional karate in the country, and runner-up in combat sambo from the National championship.
He will face Alisher Karmenov, who is well-known to SENSHI fans. In 2019, the 25-year-old Kazakh impressed the audience with his participation in the SENSHI Cup tournament in Kamchia, where he won bronze. Karmenov also won first place in the Asian Kyokushin Karate Championship, and in 2018 he became the champion of Japan in martial arts.
In the SENSHI ring, Artem Veklich and Alisher Karmenov will compete in the category up to 65 kg according to the rules of KWU SENSHI. The winner will leave with a SENSHI championship belt.
The second bout of the card is assigned for a match between Spain and Bulgaria in the category up to 65 kg according to the rules of KWU Full contact.
Pedro Granho and Dragomir Petrov will face each other in the ring.
The Spanish fighter Granho has significant success in his career. In 2015 he won the European title at Mix fight, and a year earlier he became a kickboxing champion in Spain.
The Bulgarian Dragomir Petrov has many achievements, too. In 2019 he became European champion in Muay Thai and became number one in the Wizard Pro and Max Fight Pro competitions.
The Bulgarian karate Kyokushin star Kristiyan Doichev returns at SENSHI. The European champion will make third participation and the second in a row. He is part of the fight card of SENSHI 8, which is coming this Saturday, May 22.
Doichev will participate in a clash according to the rules of KWU SENSHI in the category up to 85 kg. His opponent will be David Bitkash from Russia. The 31-year-old Russian is a multiple times champion of Southern Russia, and in 2017 he became number one in the country.
The Bulgarian Kristian Doichev is only 24 years old, but he already has many medals in his collection. In 2019, he became the European Kyokushin Champion in Portugal, and also is a silver medalist at the World Championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. He won the “Best Athlete” award at the annual Golden Belt ceremony of the National Martial Arts Association in Bulgaria.
We will see a clash between Bulgaria and Ukraine in the category up to 90 kg and according to the rules of KWU Full Contact in the fourth matchup of the evening.
The champion of Pit Bull Fight 2019 and the Ukrainian Kickboxing Cup K-1 for 2020 Vladyslav Fostenko and Kostadin Kardzhaliyski will fight for the SENSHI belt.
Kardzhaliyski is a member of the Friends Fight Club, led by the popular Bulgarian fighter and also a former participant at SENSHI – Deyan Topalski. The kickboxer is “Athlete of the year” of Gotse Delchev for 2018, winner of national titles in kickboxing in the three-ring styles, K-1, full contact, and low kick.
