XVII KWU International Summer Camp 2023 – full information

International summer camp will be held in accordance with the international calendar of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF) with the purpose:

  • strengthening the friendship between members of international organizations of KWU;
  • increasing the level of mastery of participants (they must be at age over 14 years old, over 6 kyu, and prize winners of international and national tournaments);
  • improving the qualification of coaches;
  • Examinations for new style qualifications /kyu and dan/.

Dates: International summer camp will be held from 02.07.2023 to 09.07.2023.

02 July – Arrival of the teams and General meeting
03 July – seminar of the judges
03,04,05,06,07,08 July – Training days
04 July – KWU World Varna Cup for juniors and cadets (14-15, 16-17,18-21 years)
05 July – KWU World Cup Open category for men and women
08 July – kyu/dan examinations for new style qualifications; SENSHI 17 
09 July – Departure of the teams.

Venue of the International Summer Training camp: Kamchia, 34 km to the South of Varna

The organizer reserves the right to change the schedule of sports and technical activities, taking into account the number of participants in the event.

Financial conditions:

The organizers will provide:

To all competitors in the KWU WORLD CUP OPEN CATEGORY and KWU WORLD CUP VARNA – one coach per country, KWU national country representative* – accommodation, food, and transfers from and to the airport Varna (02/07/2023 Varna airport – Kamchia, 09/07/2023 Kamchia – Varna airport).

 *If competitors from a given country participate in both competitions, the Organizers bear the costs of transfers, accommodation, and food for one KWU national representative and 2 coaches (one per competition).

For XVII KWU International Summer Camp participants**only transfers from and to Varna airport (02/07/2023 Varna airport – Kamchia, 09/07/2023 Kamchia – Varna airport). Participants in the XVII KWU International Summer Camp are required to contact a representative to make their reservation and pay in advance for their stay.
