Among the Bulgarian participants in the 27th edition of the professional fight night SENSHI, which will take place on July 12 in Varna, Bulgaria is fighter Atanas Bozhilov. On Wednesday, he spoke live on Bulgaria ON AIR about his preparation for the big event and his mindset ahead of the match.
“My preparation is going according to plan. I did a 10-day training camp abroad. I’m injury-free and everything is on schedule. I’ve studied my opponent and I hope to bring another victory for Bulgaria this July,” he said in an interview for the morning show “Bulgaria Sutrin.”
Bozhilov is set to face experienced Spaniard Luis Ballesteros, with whom he will clash for the first time at the beach arena in the “St. St. Constantine and Helena” resort in Varna.
“He is a debutant in SENSHI, but he has many fights under his belt. I observed him closely, and my coach and I developed a strategy. He’s a strong opponent, but I hope to neutralize him and have no trouble,” the Bulgarian fighter added in the interview.
