Sports Club “Katana” hosted the Bulgarian Championship for children up to 8 and 10 years old

204 participants from 29 clubs of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF) took part in this competition and faced each other in a battle for honorary titles and awards in the Palace of Culture and Sports “Vasil Levski” in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.

Vasil Chalakov from the club Okami Dojo Asenovgrad received the special award for the high fighting spirit after winning 5 matches in the largest category, which had 39 participants. Ralitsa Vladova from the club Yunak Ruse won the prize for girls.

The awards for technique were given to Mikail Mutishev from “Katana” Veliko Tarnovo and Siyana Toneva from club “Asken” Stara Zagora.

After the successful event, we continued with the tradition of planting trees. Congratulations to SC “Katana” and Sensei Samir Mutishev for the hospitality and excellent organization of the championship. We also thank the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo for the support.

Photos and videos can be found on social profiles of the BKKF on Facebook and Instagram.

The next tournament for the BKKF karatekas is the National Championship for all ages in the discipline “Kata”, which is scheduled for June 9 in Shumen, and on the 8th will be held a seminar for the judges.

We wish everyone the best of luck in preparation for one of the most important events before the summer holidays, the World Cup Varna for juniors, cadets, men, and women (14-21 yo), which is traditionally held during the international summer camp in Kamchia, a camp that we host for the 18th time.
