On the 16th–17th March 2018 in Petrozavodsk
there was held Specialized Kata Training Seminar with Shihan Victor Fomin (adults and juniors) and Sensei Yulia Tseytlina (children).
The Seminar was organized by Karelia Kyokushinkai Federation and SC “Karelia” (responsible – Sensei Irina Kukshieva) and gathered 80 participants from Petrozavodsk, Medvezhiegorsk, Segezha and Murmansk.
Training sessions were held in 2 separate groups and then were followed testing of results in general short sessions. Main attention was paid to the quality of kata performances according to competition demands and criteria of judging and understanding of self-defense application. The event was completed by practical Seminar for judges with kata performances by some participants.
