We share with you Sensei Tariel Nikoleishvili’s impressions of the past week.
From July 6 to 13, 2025, the XIX International Summer Martial Arts Camp once again proved why it’s one of the most inspiring events in the world of combat sports.
One word to describe it?
Bliss.
Behind the scenes of the Summer Camp
I arrived on July 4 with fellow instructors. The first two days were dedicated to unseen but essential work: planning, coordination, and aligning philosophies. This backstage effort is what makes this camp precise, powerful, and united.
From the start, we felt — this is something special.
An organization that deserves a standing ovation
What strikes you first isn’t just the scale — it’s the attention to every detail: logistics, food, safety, media, accommodation, medical support — all flawless.
Thanks to Shihan Ivo Kamenov and his incredible team. Anyone who’s organized a martial arts event knows how hard it is to reach this level.
Intense training across multiple disciplines
Every day includes:
• 2 Kyokushin Karate sessions
• 2 Kickboxing sessions
• 2 Kudo sessions
• 1 Iaido session
Led by legendary instructors who share not only techniques but also their philosophy, spirit, and mindset.
Valuable additional sessions
• Bulgarian Kyokushin instructors trained under the supervision of Shihan Asen Asenov
• Wrestling sessions led by Stoyan Dimov
These sessions were a powerful addition to the camp’s technical depth.
Growth through exchange
Even instructors learn. We watched, listened, and challenged ourselves.
It’s not about competition — it’s about mutual growth.
Physically exhausted.
Mentally — on fire.
Tournaments and elite fight nights
• Referee seminars
• Kyokushin World Cup for youth with prizes up to €5000
• KWU SENSHI WORLD CUP AMATEURS with cash prizes every round
• Belt grading exams
• SENSHI 27 — Professional Fight Night
SENSHI Rising star — Zhulien Rikov
A young Bulgarian fighter. Calm, sharp, focused — his performance stood out.
Rikov is the kind of fighter you want to bet on. He has it all — discipline, character, and vision. His future is bright.
