Polesye Cup 2017 – Welcome to Gomel!

The traditional International Polesye Cup Kyokushin Kan Karate Tournament

with participation of sportsmen from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan (IK, IFK,WKO,WKF)

will take place on Februrary 11, 2017 in Gomel (Railway Culture Palace, Privokzalnaya square 4, Gomel)

Beginning of tournament – 10.00
Opening ceremony – 13.00
Closing and awarding ceremony – 16.00

The Tournament will be organised in weight categories among 12-17 year-old juniors and in men and women teams.

The Tournament is organised within annual working schedule of the Belarusian Kyokushin kan Association.

The Tournament is organised by Sakura Gomel Regional Contact Karate Federation, Gomel Centre of Martial Arts, Directorate of Sports and Tourism of Gomel Regional Executive Committee, Directorate for Ideology, Culture and Youth Affairs of Gomel Regional Executive Committee, Department of Sports and Tourism of Gomel City Executive Committee.

The Tournament is an opportunity for the Belarusian juniors to evaluate their readiness to the competition which is due in Berlin, Germany, on March 18, 2017, under aegis of KWU.

The Tournament is an important stage for selecting the Belarusian team (men, women) for the World Championship in Tokyo in November 2017.

The tournament is open for all kyokushin karate versions being part of KWU (Kyokushin World Union).
