KWUCHAMP: city and date for the 3rd World Championship were chosen

The organizing committee of KWU chose the city and the date for the 3rd World Championship!

As you probably know, out of 7 possible cities for holding of the 3rd KWU Kyokushin World Championship 2017, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg came to the finals. The work team of the World Championship Organizing Committee, whose members visited both of the cities, properly examined them.

Kaliningrad

The work team faced a difficult choice, because both of the cities were ready to host such a huge event.

However, in a result of a comparative analysis of the objective factors, Yekaterinburg was chosen as the city of holding of the World Championship! The championship will be held on December 9-10, 2017 in the Palace of Game Sports (DIVS).

The Organizing Committee of the Championship was headed by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Evgeny Kuyvashev. It should also be noted that the chairman of the executive committee of Russian Kyokushinkai Association, Sergey Suvorov was appointed to be a head of the Championship’s work team.
