On the 20th-22nd January 2017 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur,
according to RKF Kata Committee’s schedule, there was held Specialized Kata and Referee Seminar with Shihan Victor Fomin.
There were about 100 participants of different ages (all kyu grades and black belts, including coaches) mainly from “Medved” (“Bear”) sport club. This club (personally Senseis Anna Vorobjeva and Alexander Yudenko) with support of Shihan Stanislav Vinokurov (Khabarovsk) was the organizer of the event.

Seminar’s program was worked for judges, coaches and sportsmen. It covered all Kyokushin katas. Methods of their mastering, using technical elements in self-defense and principles of adequate judging in competitions. Training cycle was completed by referee practical seminar with participation of young sportsmen. This became the first step of preparation to regional and zone kata competitions.
