Bulgarian MMA star to face a Kazakhstan champion on SENSHI 4

One of the most popular Bulgarian MMA fighters and multiple champion – Aleksandar Evstatiev will make his debut on the professional arena of SENSHI. On October 26th at the Palace of culture and sport in Varna, our black belt in karate will face Kyokushin world champion from Kazakhstan Andrey Kotov.

The bout will be in the 75 kg category by the rules of the Professional league of the KWU.

Evstatiev represents Desant club.

He’s been practicing martial arts for 20 years and the one he thinks he is most good at is karate Kyokushin. The 31-year-old fighter has more than 80 amateur Kyokushin fights behind him, has participated in tournaments under Muay Thai rules and grappling and has a solid score of achievements on the MMA stage.

In 2012 he took part in the first World MMA championship for amateurs in St. Petersburg, organized by M-1. On the professional MMA ring, he has 7 bouts, in 4 of which he emerged victorious.

Evstatiev’s opponent – 25-year-old Andrey Kotov is a world champion and Kazakhstan’s national champion in Kyokushin for 2018. Last year he took a medal also form the prestigious Asian championship. He will enter the SENSHI arena for the second time.

In July at SENSHI Cup’s special edition Kotov fought against a fighter from Belarus. In the final round, the Kazakhstan fighter received some very serious injuries on his face, which stopped him from fighting in the additional round, losing the bout to his opponent.
