This meeting provided a great opportunity for athletes of all levels to improve their skills under the instruction of globally renowned champions.

The camp schedule was extensive and challenging. It began on Thursday, March 29, with two intensive three-hour training sessions focused on pad work and combat technique refinement. These sessions aimed to enhance the athletes’ physical and technical capabilities.

On Friday, March 30, the day started with a sunrise run followed by physical exercises, preparing the athletes for two more training sessions throughout the day, including a morning and an evening session. The camp concluded on Sunday, March 31, with a special two-hour kumite training, offering participants the chance to engage in combat and apply the teachings received.

Beyond the rigorous physical training, the athletes were treated to a motivational lecture by Shihan Francisco Filho, a valuable opportunity to gain insights and inspiration from a living legend of karate. Sensei Ewerton Teixeira augmented the experience with a detailed session on fight strategies, sharing his deep knowledge of the sport’s tactical aspects. These interactions significantly enriched the camp, providing athletes with mental and strategic tools, in addition to physical skills.
