IFK Canada: Results from 2017 Gold Cup

Contact Kicks Martial Arts participated in the 2017 Gold Cup Kyokushin Tournament in Montreal, which included over 425 participants.

A martial artist is loyal to his dojo, his team and his teacher.

There is a diference between a fitness gym and a dojo! There is a diference between someone who just works out sometime or a martial artist. Loyalty is one of the eight virtues of the Bushido Code (The Way of the Warrior). It is even more relevant in todays fast world and busy life. One must realize that being a member in a dojo , enters a new univers. A place where we are training our body but also our mind and soul. It is not enough just to pay a monthly membership, that only will not make you a dojo student. This is something that some students must reflect on it! Osu!

Steve Fogarasi – Thoughts for a new year

Sensei Steve FogarasiI don’t have all the answers and

I don’t always know what is the best thing to do. I can’t tell you that my way is the only way, not even close. I don’t know if you will succeed or not reaching your goals. No one knows that for sure.

All I can tell you is this: I have been learning martial arts for 30 years and I am still learning, everyday. Sometimes from others, sometimes from my own mistakes. I am observing and absorbing as much as I can, everywhere and all the time.
