The 5th IFK World championship – Fights duration

On May 26 in the Hilton Hotel was held medical and weighing

Commissions of the competitors. Meanwhile, judges and referees gathered and discussed the IFK Fighting rules. From 60 judges almost every country with participants have a representative on this list.

Fight duration:

U18

2 min/2 min/weigh decision/Enchosen 2 min.

Finals: 2 min/2 min/Enchosen 2 min. (no weigh decision)

Weigh difference: 3 kg and more; for Boys +75 – 5 kg and more.

Protection: As usual for girls and boys this age group, but no gloves on IFK competitions!

U21

2 min/2 min/weigh decision/Enchosen 2 min.

Finals: 2 min/2 min/Enchosen 2 min. (no weigh decision)

Weigh difference: 5 kg and more; for Men -80 and over – 8 kg and more.

Protection as usual for men and women.

Adults:

Preliminary rounds: 2 min/2 min/weigh decision/Enchosen 2 min.

Quarter and Semi Finals: 3 min/2 min/weigh decision/Enchosen 2 min.

Finals: 3 min/2 min/enchosen 2 min. (no weigh decision)

Weigh difference: 5 kg and more; for Men -90 and over – 8 kg and more.

Protection as usual for men and women.
