Michael Astur brutally knocked out Zaplitnii in the last second

Michael Astur (Estonia) defeated Maxim Zaplitnii (Moldova) by knockout in a spectacular battle of SENSHI 11. In the last second, the Estonian stuck a flying knee in the opponent’s chin.

The pair competed in the 80 kg category according to the rules of KWU Full Contact in the Congressna Hall in Varna.

The two rivals started cautiously with a waiting strategy. Astur placed a good body kick. The Estonian skillfully kept the opponent at a distance, given the height advantage. Zaplitnii gradually began to feel his rhythm and entered more boldly after the middle of the first round. The Moldovan showed quick hands in his last-minute and scored two technical combinations.

The Moldovan fighter was more active at the beginning of the second round. He kept looking for various combinations—a flying knee from the Estonian, who felt that he could not mark his opponent. Astur picked up the pace and intensity of his blows, listening to advice from the corner. He placed another nice flying knee 30 seconds before the end of the round. However, Zaplitnii ended up with a powerful attack, with a kick in the opponent’s head.

A strong attack by the Moldovan at the beginning of the final 3 minutes. He continued to find the higher opponent with low kicks. Astur bent the ropes after another bang in the middle of the round. The Estonian worked hard on his flying knees, but he couldn’t find the target. The two continued the fierce battle until the last second when Astur brutally put his knee in the opponent’s head! Knockout literally in the last second of the third round!
