World Cup Varna 2025 – Full Information

On July 8, 2025, the World Cup Varna for Kyokushin Karate juniors and cadets aged 14 to 21 will take place.

This prestigious event gathers young Kyokushin karate talents from around the world during the XIX International Summer Camp in Kamchia (Varna, Bulgaria). The World Cup in Varna is an established annual tradition that showcases the skills and perseverance of competitors from different countries. The event has a long history and strong cultural significance, becoming a key moment in the global Kyokushin community’s calendar, promoting sportsmanship and intercultural exchange.

Categories and Prize Fund

The winners in the 14-15 and 16-17 age categories (from 1st to 3rd place) will receive medals, diplomas, and trophies. The categories for the 14-15-year-old boys are 50, 60, 70, 70+, while for the girls are 45, 55, 60, 60+. In the 16-17-year-old age group, boys will compete in categories 55, 65, 75, 75+, and girls in 55, 65, 65+.

In the 18-21 age category, competitors from 1st to 4th place will receive medals, certificates, and trophies. A significant cash prize fund has also been allocated for this age group. The fighters will compete in the following categories:

  • Cadet men: 75, 85, 85+
  • Cadet women: 55, 65, 65+

The prize fund for men is as follows:

  • 1st place – 5000 EUR
  • 2nd place – 3500 EUR
  • 3rd place – 2000 EUR
  • 4th place – 1000 EUR

The prize fund for women is:

  • 1st place – 3500 EUR
  • 2nd place – 2500 EUR
  • 3rd place – 1500 EUR
  • 4th place – 1000 EUR

The organizer will provide accommodation (from July 6 to July 13, 2025), meals, and transfers from the airport for the competitors, one national representative from each organization, and one coach from each country.

  • One national representative from the organization
  • Competitor(s) from the organization

  • Kyokushin Camp – until June 15, 2025
  • World Cup Varna – juniors and cadets (14-21 years) – until June 15, 2025
