On the 3–4 April 2021, a Specialized kata seminar with Shihan Viktor Fomin was held in Petrozavodsk, Russia organized by the Kyokushin Federation of the Republic of Karelia.
About 70 participants from Petrozavodsk, Segezha, Sortavala, Belomorsk, Medvezhyegorsk, Arkhangelsk, St. Petersburg, and Moscow trained.
The standard performance of all Kyokushin katas as a sports discipline and the tradition of Budo-karate based on bunkai was mastered, using special training methods, testing students with elements of judging, as well as adjusting the basic technique.
