Dimitar Penchev is the new captain of Bulgaria`s National Kickboxing Team in ring styles. The multiple-time winner in SENSHI events was chosen by the coach of the team – Vladimir Valev “The Pitbull”.
With this important task Penchev heirs Atanas Bozhilov who will now participate only in pro events.
“Congratulations! This is a burden that I`m sure you can carry. You have the experience. You have deserved this”, were Valev`s words after the ceremony that took place in “Sport Palace” complex in Varna.
Penchev achieved one of his biggest wins in his career at SENSHI 8 where he defeated Peter Stoykov. The BC “Scorpion” representative won the fight with a split decision in a European WAKO PRO title contest.
