Remarkable masters of martial arts are star guests and referees of SENSHI 17

The 17th edition of the SENSHI professional fight gala with legendary referees and famous participants is coming on July 8

In mid-summer, fan excitement will increase even more with the SENSHI 17 International Gala Night, featuring 36 elite and renowned fighters from 20 countries and several continents. The 17th edition of the fight night will take place on July 8 in Varna on the beach of Restaurant More in St. St. Constantine and Helena resort.

Special guests and referees of the fights in the gala evening will be many martial arts legends, the world-renowned and deeply respected masters:

Shihan Akira Masuda (Japan) – The Last Samurai – All Japan Champion 1990, completed 100 man kumite in 1991, 2nd place at the 5th World Championships 1991, 3rd place at the 4th World Open Championship 1987. He participated in 4 World Championships always finishing on the podium with the awarded martial masters.

Shihan Kenichi Osada (Japan) – 7th Dan winner, won the All Japan Open Championship /1985, 1986, 1989, 1992/ and winner of All Japan Weight Category Championship /1984, 1987, 1989/.

Shihan Francisco Filho (Brazil) – 2-times K-1 Grand Prix champion, Absolute World champion 1999, completed 100 man kumite in 1999, World champion 1997, 4-time Brazilian champion, 3-time South American champion.

Shihan Ryu Narushima (Japan) – 7th World Open Tournament 1999, 8th place, Champion of the 16th All Japan Weight Tournament 1999, 1st World Weight Tournament 1997, 3rd place, Champion of the 12th and 13th All Japan Weight Tournament, 11th All Japan Weight Tournament 1994, 2nd place.

Ernesto Hoost (Netherlands) 4-times K-1 World champion, Savate World Champion, ISKA full contact World Champion and Muay Thai World Champion.

Takashi Ito – the first WMAF super welterweight kickboxing champion, famous sports manager and organizer of kickboxing competitions R.I.S.E.

Shihan Semmy Schilt (Netherlands) – Glory Grand Slam 16 man tournament Champion, Glory World Champion, 4 x K-1 Grand Prix Champion, K-1 World Champion, 3x King of Pancrase, 2 times World Absolute Kudo Champion.

Peter Aerts (Netherlands) – 3-times K-1 World Grand Prix champion, World Kickboxing champion, World Muay Thai champion.

Shihan Asen Asenov (Bulgaria) – first Bulgarian gold medalist in European Kyokushin championship 1988, European kickboxing champion 1994.

Shihan Glaube Feitosa (Brazil) – K-1 World Grand Prix Las Vegas Champion 2005, 2nd place K-1 World  GP 2005, 2-time Brazil Champion, South American Champion, 2nd place on the 1st World weight Championship, MVP World Team Cup 1998 and World Champion at the World Team Cup 2002.

Shihan Sam Greco (Australia) – K-1 Fighter, World champion, motivational Speaker, actor. 3 x WAKO World Kickboxing champion, World Full Contact Karate champion and 6 x Australian Full Contact champion.

Sensei Ewerton Teixeira (Brazil) – K-1 World GP Fukuoka champion 2008, Absolute Kyokushin World champion 2007, Kyokushin World weight champion 2005, 5-times All American champion in open weight.

Sensei Andrews Nakahara (Brazil) – World Kyokushin champion 2005, All-American Absolute champion 2006, 2 times South American champion. He won 4 of his 11 Professional matches with knockouts.

Sensei Nicholas Pettas (Japan)  – European and World Karate Champion, last Uchi-deshi of Masutatsu Oyama, K-1 Japan Grand Prix winner.

Sensei Jan Soukup (Czech Republic) – 2nd place 9th Kyokushin World Open 2007, European champion, All Japan Tournament winner, Yangame’s Fight Night Heavyweight champion.

Sensei Zahari Damyanov (Bulgaria) – Absolute Kyokushin World champion 2015, 4-times American Absolute champion, 4-times European Champion.

Ryota Azuma (Japan)   3rd Dan, Daidojuku HQ Shihan-dai, World Kudo Champion, Asia Kudo Champion, All Japan 3 class domination

Ryota Onodera (Japan) the World Kudo Champion 2023.

Albert Kraus (Netherlands) – The first K-1 World MAX Champion in 2002 and also the first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight champion, World champion in Kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Andy Souwer (Netherlands) – 2-times K-1 World MAX champion and 4-times Shootboxing World champion, Showtime 70MAX World champion, World Muay Thai champion.

Sensei Petar Martinov (Bulgaria) – Kyokushin World champion 2014, Kyokushin European champion 2006, 3rd place European open 2008, 3-times European Tameshiwari champion.

Sensei Yusuke Fujii (Japan)   KWU World Championships 3rd place, six times All-Japan champion in Absolute and weigh divisions, Australian and New Zealand Full contact champion.

SENSHI 17 will be held in the same time with one of the largest training camps in the field of martial arts not only in Bulgaria, but also in the whole world of Kyokushin and Karate – the 17th annual KWU International Summer Camp in Kamchia. In the period from 02 to 09 July will be the prestigious international summer camp in KUDO with legendary names from the combat sport in Kamchia, organized by the World Kudo Federation.

Every year, participants from all over the world gather at the two renowned training camps in Bulgaria to learn from the best masters, as well as to study and develop their skills in various martial arts.

SENSHI is organized in cooperation with the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union (KWU International Professional League), as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
