August 2 – 4, 2017, Ryazan hosted Kobudo workshops
(traditional weapons combat technique) under the leadership of the supreme instructor of the International Karate-Do Organization Kyokushin-kan and the president of the Society of Traditional Japanese Martial Arts, Shihan Okazaki Hiroto
Seminars were organized jointly by the Federation of Kyokushin-kan Karate-Do Russia and the Russian Organization of Traditional Japanese Budo Hosokai with the participation of the Ryazan State University.
For three days in the first half of the day, classes took place on the kobudo section of the International Karate-Do Organization Kyokushin-kan (technique of fighting with a stick, trident of sai and tonfa), and in the second – under the program of the Society of Traditional Japanese Martial Arts Hosokai.
Each lesson lasted from two to three hours, depending on an additional program of activities.
