On 19 March 2021, an online meeting was held of the KWU Executive committee with attendance Kancho Hatsuo Royama (President of the KI), Shihan Antonio Pinero (President of the KWF), Shihan David Pickthall (President of the IFK), and Shihan Aleksand Pichkunov (Secretary General of the KWU). The meeting agenda included one pressing matter: recognize the All-Russian Physical culture sport public organization “Federation Kyokushin Russia” (with President A. N. Alymov) as a KWU National federation in Russia, which will represent the interests of KWU in Russia as long as the equal rights of the athletes, coaches, Judges of IFK, KWF, and KI are secured. It is also decided to replace Shihan Ramil Gabbasov representing AKR with Shihan Alymov (FKR).
The protocol is signed by Kancho Hatsuo Royama (President of the KI), Shihan Antonio Pinero (President of the KWF), Shihan David Pickthall (President of the IFK) and Shihan Aleksand Pichkunov (Secretary General of the KWU).
