Kumite seminar with Sensei Zahari Damyanov will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan on 20-22 January 2023
Sensei Damyanov is the 4-times American Absolute champion, 4-times European Champion, and multiple Bulgarian National champion in Kyokushin karate. On 22 November 2015 he wrote his name in golden letters in the history of Kyokushin Karate by winning the toughest and most prestigious competition in Japan – World Championship in the open weight category. Thus he became the first Bulgarian and European to stand on the top of the podium. The first place in the championship, which is held once every four years, is equal in importance to the Olympic gold. In November 2016, Sensei Zahari Damyanov was appointed coach of the national team of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation.
