Jon Bluming Memorial Training 2023

The Jon Bluming memorial training will be held for the 5th time. The International Budo Kaikan (IBK) has had this training since 2013. After the death of Kaicho Jon Bluming on December 17, 2018.

This training has been continued as a memorial training in memory of the man who introduced Kyokushin Karate in the Netherlands and Europe.

It was Kaicho Jon Bluming, Hanshi Rinus Schultz, and Hanshi Henry Seriese who founded the first Dutch Karate Association (NKA). Hanshi Henry Seriese is an honorary guest during the memorial training.

Before the training starts, a minute will be remembered for the death of Kaicho Jon Bluming. The guest training sessions are provided by Ernesto Hoost and Shihan Semmy Schilt, both 4 x K-1 GP champion Kancho Jan de Bruin will provide the Kihon and Shihan Jacques van Roosmalen will provide the warm-up.
