The sixth edition of the K-1 World Grand Prix in 1998 has once again gathered 8 of the finest heavyweight kickboxers under one ceiling.

8 fighters made it to the quarterfinals that took place at the “Tokyo Dome” in Japan – Ray Sefo, Andy Hug, Peter Aerts, Sam Greco, Ernesto Hoost, Masaaki Satake, Mike Bernardo, and Fransisco Filho.

More than 60000 fans witnessed this epic tournament in person.

The second semifinal bout opposes Switzerland’s Andy Hug vs. Australia’s Sam Greco. This is their second and last fight in their pro careers, with their initial bout ending in a draw.

The battle between the two almighty fighters produces one of the most competitive fights in K-1 history, with the winner being declared via a majority decision after the full three rounds.
