Bulgaria’s national Kyokushin fighters are getting ready for upcoming competitions

Bulgaria’s national Kyuokushin teams for men, women, and juvenile began their preparation camp for the upcoming international competitions.

The karatekas got together for the first time this year. They took part in the KWU International Professional League Camp in Sofia.

The training session of the national representatives was accompanied by an Iaido session at “Armeec Arena”. The National Kyokyshin Coach Sensei Zahari Damyanov led the session for the karatekas, while Shihan Asen Asenov led the Iaido session.

“Always aim to surprise your opponent. I don`t want to see the same “mawashi” techniques over and over. Be unpredictable even at practice”, were some of Sensei Zahari Damyanov`s words.

This was the second session for the karatekas this Saturday. Earlier in the day, they took part in Peter Aerts` masterclass. The Dutch Lumberjack emphasized fighting from a distance.
