Artur Arushanyan shared his experience in Kamenskoye

A winter training school of the Dneprovsky branch “Kyokushin-kan Standard” was held in Kamenskoye.

For the second year in a row, five-time European champion, Eurasian champion, four-time world champion Sensei Artur Arushanyan comes to our city from Armenia to improve the technique of karatekas of the Dnieper branch of Kyokushin-kan karate. During a break between training sessions at the Olympia Hotel, a press conference was held for journalists organized by the head of the Kamensk Kyokushin-kan Karate Federation, Evgeny Kolishevsky. The meeting was also attended by the head of the Dnieper branch Shihan Andrey Shchigolev (black belt, 5th dan), and coach Alexander Nakonechny.

Artur told reporters that he took up karate at a fairly adult age for athletes. At that time, he was 12 years old. Despite the mother’s disagreement to engage in professional wrestling (after all, every sports hobby can damage health ), Arthur always had the high motivation and will to win.

As a coach, Artur always pays attention to the progress of his pupils at school. Each of them regularly reports on their assessments. He believes that children need to talk and convince them to play sports. At the same time, it is essential not to force but also not to encourage laziness.
