Armenian Open Championship 2024: International Karate Tournament

The Armenian Kyokushin Karate Federation proudly announces the Armenian Open Championship 2024, an international tournament that brings together athletes from around the globe. Open to children, girls, juniors, men, and women, the event will feature kumite and kata competitions, showcasing top-level martial arts talent.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Promoting Kyokushin Karate: Encouraging the growth and development of Kyokushin karate both in Armenia and internationally.
  • Youth Engagement: Motivating children and young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle through sports.
  • Building Character: Fostering moral and physical excellence and promoting personal development.
  • International Unity: Strengthening bonds between athletes of different nations.
  • Skill Advancement: Elevating the skill level of participants and identifying the strongest fighters.

  • Mandate Commission: December 20th, 2024, 10:00 – 16:00
    Address: Yerevan, Amiryan St. 9
  • Referee Seminar: December 20th, 2024, 18:00
    Address: Yerevan, Amiryan St. 9
  • Opening of the Tournament: December 22nd, 2024, 10:00
    Location: Yerevan, Alek Manukyan St., 1 Building, “Yerevan State University” Sports Hall
  • Finals and Awards Ceremony: December 22nd, 2024, 17:00
  • Ceremonial Closing: December 22nd, 2024, 19:00

Winners will be honored with prestigious cups.

Registration:

Athletes interested in participating must submit their preliminary applications no later than December 10th, 2024.
