Historical event: AFKO (Australian Full Contact Organisation) first official meeting was held on June 26, 2016

in Sydney, Australia right after Shihan Koen Spitaels seminar

The leaders from four different Full contact organisations were present. Led by Shinkyokushin South Pacific Chairman, Shihan Peter Volke, all four Australian Shinkyokushin branch Chiefs were present: Shihan Peter Volke. Shihan David Jacobs, Sensei John Hall and Sensei Yasunari Yahiro. So-Kyokushin country Representative Shihan James Phillips, Kancho Peter Mylonas, the leader of Kempo Ryu and Daniel Trifu KWF country representative (KWU member)
