The results of the European Open Kyokushin Championship are revised.

 

DECISION

OF THE SUPREME JUDGE
OF THE EUROPEAN OPEN KYOKUSHIN CHAMPIONSHIP (KWU)

June 28th, 2012

In accordance with p. 8.1 of the “Regulation of conducting the European Open Kyokushin Championship” of 2012, and with the results of anti-doping tests between the prize winners of the European Championship of 2012, who took places from the 1st to the 8th, held by the Swedish company «International Doping Tests & Management» (IDTM), I declare the following decision of the Supreme Judge of the competitions:

1.To recognize the results shown in the European Open Kyokushin Championship, which was held on June 9-10, 2012 in Moscow, as invalid for Minbulatov Rashid, who took 3rd place and Lushin Nikolay, who took 6th place, due to the detection in samples of the urine of these athletes’ the prohibited substance – carphedon (conclusion of Anti-doping Center of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation from 19.06.2012 № 12-1098).

2.To cancel Rashid Minbulatov’s and Nikolay Lushin’s titles of the prize winners of the European Open Kyokushin Championship of 2012.

3.To the governing bodies of the federations – members of the Russian Kyokushin Association (RKA), applying these athletes to the European Championship of 2012 – to take disciplinary actions to the athletes and officials of the Federation who have allowed doping usage during the preparation for the Championship up to disqualification.

4.To recognize the official results of the European Open Kyokushin Championship (June 9-10, 2012, Moscow) as follows:

1st place – Vidyulin Andrey (Russia)
2nd place – Mezhevtsov Alexey (Russia)
3rd place – Hachatryan Arsen (Russia)
4th place – Mammadov Farhad (Azerbaijan)
5th place – Estensoro Pablo (Spain)
6th place – Mitsaev Magomed (Russia)
