The KWU International Summer camp started more than promising

KWU’s highly anticipated summer camp officially kicked off today to the delight of all combat sports fans. Kamchia Sports Complex welcomed over 1200 participants worldwide to gain experience from some of the most proven masters in Kyokushin, Kudo, Kickboxing, MMA, and more.

Classes started as early as sunrise near the Black Sea coast so the young talents could reap all the dividends of outdoor sports with fresh air.

The activities moved to the gyms at midday to avoid the scorching July sun.

In the evening, the instructors chose to teach both in the open air and indoors, which delighted young and old alike. At this camp, we saw adolescent athletes and active professionals competing in some of the biggest circuits, such as ONE FC, Glory, Fury, SENSHI, and more.

Living legend Shihan Akira Masuda mostly trained the group of instructors along with Shihan Asen Asenov.

Three absolute Kyokushin world champions Shihan Francisco Filho, Sensei Tariel Nikoleishvili, Sensei Zahari Damyanov, and the European champion Sensei Peter Martinov, had taken over the group of fighters. They answered questions and showed every move that helped them through their years as active competitors.

Kickboxing legends Sam Greco, Albert Kraus, and Andy Souwer led the training of professional fighters and full-contact practitioners. And Shihan Alexander Pichkunov together with Sensei Nikolay Atanasov, took over the group of young hopes in professional sport.

Shihan Ryu Narushima, Sensei Glaube Feitosa, and Sensei Ewerton Teixeira led the future generation of champions training. And Sensei Yusuke Fujii and Sensei Masaki Fujii, to the delight of the youngest Bulgarian karatekas, were the lead instructors of their group.

The day was filled with many emotions for the fighters competing in the two World Cups. The registration was successful, and we wish success to all.
