Special prizes from Youth European KWUchamp Berlin 2017

On March 18th 2017 in Berlin, Germany was held European KWU championship

for children and youth in age groups from 10 to 17 years old.

550 fighters took part on this amazing karate competition day.

After day full with emotions, there was announced 44 new European champions. Results HERE. There also was more prize winners. As every kyokushin competition there is special prizes for spirit and techniques.

Kyokushin-kan Bulgaria: The Golden girls from the 5th Youth KWUCHAMP 2016

Monika Dimitrova, Valeria Lozanova and Lubomira Nikolova are golden girls

of Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF). Winners from the 5th KWU World Open Kyokushin karate championship for juniors, held in Varna, Bulgaria.

The girls defeated their opponents in the age group 16-17 years old.

“The competition was very forceful, one of the toughest in which we competed. There was great competitors from Russia and Japan, and especially the finals, our finals were really heavy too” shared champions.

Important points for practicing Kyokushin kata

Kata is a formal exercise and must begin and end with a polite and genuine bow

1. ”Live” the techniques while performing Kata. Create the image of your attacker, thus performing the appropriate technique. Consider, re-consider, practice each technique and constantly evaluate yourself.

2. Understand the sophistication of power generation in each and every movement of Kata.

3. Become one with the Kata and flow with the rhythm of movement.

4. Strive for perfection of form and movement. With repetitive practice project your spirit outwardly.
