SENSHI 23 with three knockouts, 13 debuts, and lots of action!

On September 7, the 23rd SENSHI International Gala Fight Night occurred in Varna, Bulgaria. The event showed spectacular fights, three knockouts, thirteen new fighters in the ring, and some intense bouts. Professional combat athletes from 17 countries gave their all in the arena as they battled it out for victory at SENSHI 23. The quick exchanges of powerful techniques and the fighting spirit of the sorts once again raised the tension levels in the beach arena. The stunning combat show brought solid emotions and much action to all martial arts enthusiasts.

Thousands of spectators worldwide watched online 12 epic battles under the rules of KWU FULL CONTACT, KWU SENSHI, and KWU OPEN, and hundreds experienced the emotions live at the Black Sea beach near the restaurant “More” in “St. St. Constantine and the Helena” resort in Varna, Bulgaria.

Kristiyan Doychev (Bulgaria) won over Valentinos Kiriakidis (Greece) by judges’ decision.

Delyan Georgiev (Bulgaria) won over Lucas Lima (Brazil) by the judges’ decision.

Atanas Bozhilov (Bulgaria) won over Jaiteh Ndow Bubu (Spain) by TKO.

 

At the end of the gala night, after the last explosive fight in the arena of SENSHI 23, it was traditionally the turn of the organizers to present the special awards – “Knockout of the Night,”  “Best Technique,”  and “Fighting Spirit.”

The great Ernesto Hoost personally presented the “Knockout of the Night” award to Brazilian Bruno Chaves. In addition, the top “Fighting Spirit” award was given from kickboxing legend Andy Souwer to Moroccan Abdelilah Azzouzi. The “Best Technique” award deservedly went to Italian Michael Samperi, given to him by the world-famous Semmy Schilt.

 The 23rd edition of SENSHI is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service, and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
