Ali Yuzeir Joins the Fight Card of SENSHI 29

The local hero becomes the fifth Bulgarian fighter at the gala night, which will feature 12 explosive bouts.

SENSHI 29 is ramping up the action in its final edition of the year with the participation of Ali Yuzeir. On December 6, from 07:00 PM EET (12:00 PM EST) at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, spectators will witness 12 bouts featuring fighters from 16 countries, including five relentless Bulgarians stepping into the ring. Tickets for the international fight gala are available through Eventim.bg.

Ali Yuzeir is a WMF Muay Thai World Champion (2018), Balkan K1 Champion (2017), and European Vice-Champion (2015). He has one previous appearance and a victory at SENSHI 4. He will face Karim Mabrouk in the -85 kg division under KWU FULL CONTACT rules. The Austrian fighter is the 2022 ISKA World Champion, 2019 IPCC European K1 Champion, 2017 ISKA Intercontinental K1 Champion, and holds a win at SENSHI 23.

Interestingly, just days before their first professional match, at the WAKO Men World Championship in Abu Dhabi on November 25, Ali Yuzeir defeated Karim Mabrouk. Their upcoming clash at SENSHI 29 promises high adrenaline and a strong drive for revenge from the Austrian.

Eduard Aleksanyan will meet an experienced opponent in SENSHI 29 — Romanian fighter Marius Munteanu, competing in the heaviest division, +95 kg, under KWU FULL CONTACT rules. With four SENSHI appearances, the Romanian is well known to the Bulgarian audience. He is a Colosseum Tournament champion, Kombat London winner, and Fight Zone champion. His last performance in Bulgaria was at the organization’s first and spectacular Grand Prix edition — SENSHI 28.

Zhulien Rikov will face a new opponent — Spaniard Alex Fernandez in the -75 kg category under KWU FULL CONTACT rules. In December, Fernandez is set to make his second appearance for the fight promotion after one loss at SENSHI 18. He is an ISKA World Champion and a DFN World Champion.

Dragomir Petrov has made a strong statement ahead of his bout in the -70 kg category under KWU FULL CONTACT rules against Moroccan fighter Aissam Chadid. Petrov is the ISKA European Champion, Glory of Hero Champion, and Spanish Champion, with four SENSHI appearances to date. Although this will be their first match in the SENSHI ring, a fight between Petrov and Chadid was scheduled twice before — at SENSHI 13 and SENSHI 16. Injuries and unfavorable circumstances prevented the long-awaited clash between two of the division’s top fighters, raising the tension between them.

Atanas Bozhilov, who holds a record 23 wins in the SENSHI ring, is also preparing for his next challenge against Dutch fighter Rocky Grandjean. His opponent, a kickboxing champion of the Netherlands, will demonstrate his skills to the audience in his debut appearance at the final SENSHI edition of the year — SENSHI 29.

Exclusive content, the latest news, and fighter interviews can be found on the official SENSHI website and also on the promotion’s social media accounts on FacebookInstagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

SENSHI 29 is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service, and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
