Students from ITACHI Dojo win The British Open

On Saturday, October 7, Valence Bickel and Evi Klootwijk from ITACHI Dojo took first place at the British Open 2023 Europe Cup.

Sensei and Coach André van Wezel speak of a great success. Both ladies came first in their categories. Valence reached the final after two games in which she won convincingly. She also immediately managed to win the final. Which resulted in a beautiful victory. Evi took victory in her final match with a well-placed technique, after which her opponent gave up.

Sensei André van Wezel has also coached Chelsea Rosenau from the karate school Tora Tora. She came third in this tournament. With karatekas from all over the world, this can be called a tournament of a very high level. There will be no time to recover because, with a view to the world championships on November 17/18 in Arnhem, expectations are high for these ladies.
