On 16-17 and 18 October 2020, the city of Tatuí, a city in the interior of São Paulo, received a visit from the national representative, Shihan Antonio Pereira.
The main objective of this seminar was to bring together (what COVID 19 has been preventing) regional KWF representatives who recently joined KWF Brazil to harmonize systems, methods, and techniques. Remember that the health protocols were respected.
About 50 students from cities such as São Paulo, Santo André, Campo Grande, Fortaleza, and, of course, Tatuí, were present, who were lucky enough to participate in a seminar and train under the guidance of Shihan Antonio Pereira. Refer by the geographical distance the presence of sempai Jeferson Gomes Martins from the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and sempai Domingos André from the state of Ceara.
The seminar host and organizer was the KWF representative in Tatuí – São Paulo region – sensei Daniel Martino – President and Technical Director of the Ronin Karate Contact Club Academy. Former international athlete admired and above all respected by everyone, making his accumulated knowledge available to the population in his dojo.
In this event, in addition to the technical work mentioned, we also had as a major objective to outline the strategy for further development of KWF in the region and in Brazil. Now that the meeting between the board of KWF Brasil and the new members has taken place, the tasks to put into practice have been defined, it remains only to move on!
Seminar participants: children and instructors, we express our gratitude to Shihan Antonio Pereira, for his generosity and opportunity to obtain invaluable experience and thus make this seminar a historic landmark of Kyokushin in the city of Tatuí, state of São Paulo, and in Brazil generally. Contributing to this success is the technical level presenting during the three days. On Sunday (October 18) in the morning, we proceed with the delivery of Kyu banners and certificates.
