Message from Kyokushin World Federation – KWF

Dear Shihan, Sensei, Senpai
We greet you in the hope that you remain in good health and the best spirit.

In response to numerous questions, we present below information about the current situation:

As you know, coronavirus pandemic has destroyed all international events plans around the world including the schedules of the European Kyokushin Federation and the World Kyokushin Federation. Even the Olympics planned for August 2020 in Tokyo has been canceled indefinitely.

We inform you about the following changes:
34. European Championship Kyokushin planned for May 15-16, 2020 in Sieradz, Poland postponed to the next year.
52. West European Summer Camp planned for July 9-12, 2020 in Papendal, Netherlands has been canceled.
47. East European Summer Camp planned for July 16-19, 2020 in Kraków, Poland has been canceled.
3. World Cup Kyokushin planned for October 30-31, 2020 in Kraków, Poland postponed to the next year.

We hope that as compensation for players who have not had normal trainings in their clubs for three months or longer, short training camps combined with exams will be organized. One-day seminar 29.08.2020 is planned combined with 1-3 dan exams.

Sincerely

For the Board of EKF / KWF
Secretary-General
Andjei Drewniak
