The IFK Black Belt Examination returns in 2026 with a spectacular three-day event in Salzburg, Austria — one of Europe’s most beautiful and symbolic locations for martial arts excellence. Surrounded by the Alpine mountains, participants will experience three intense days of Kyokushin training, seminars, and examinations, marking one of the most significant moments of the year for IFK practitioners.
Date: July 10–12, 2026
Place: Salzburg, Austria
A special highlight of this year’s event will be the participation of World Champions Jonas Rosin and Emanuel Lebo, who, despite having ended their competitive careers, have chosen to face one of the most demanding challenges in Kyokushin — the IFK 3rd Dan Black Belt Test. The two athletes will undergo 50 consecutive kumite fights, a grueling trial that stands among the toughest in Kyokushin history.
Also representing K.O. Dojo, World Champion Aleksandar Alexiev and European Champion Lukas Prem will join the examination, testing for their 1st Dan and 2nd Dan Black Belts respectively.
The camp will be open to all federations, offering participants the chance to join daily training, technical seminars, and even the kumite portion of the exam. With a limit of 100 participants, it promises a focused and high-level experience for everyone involved.
