December arrives with a fresh dose of action and the culmination of the fighting year – the international gala SENSHI 29. The event will take place on December 6 at 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EET/ at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria. The audience will witness world-class clashes – 22 elite fighters from different continents will face off in 11 spectacular bouts under the rules of KWU FULL CONTACT and KWU SENSHI. Tickets can be purchased from Eventim.bg.
One of the most anticipated fights on the card is the KWU SENSHI -70 kg showdown between Nathan Bendon (England) and Nicolas Sanabria (Colombia) – two technical and explosive fighters who guarantee fireworks in the ring.
The Colombian Sanabria is already well known to SENSHI fans. He made a strong impression during his debut at SENSHI 23, when he defeated Walter Christopher after an extremely competitive match. With his charisma, courage, and unique style, Sanabria quickly became one of the fans’ favorites. He is the winner of Muay Thai Revolution 2024 and Muay Thai For Life Series 8.0, showcasing technique, precision, and showmanship rarely seen even at the highest level. In an interview for the sports media Boec.bg, he shared more about his preparation and mindset ahead of his fight in Varna, Bulgaria.
“I’ve been training for 13 years – this is my life. I eat, train, sleep, and repeat. Right now, I’m fully dedicated to martial arts,” says Nicolas, who draws inspiration from legends Ernesto Hoost, Ramon Dekkers, and Andy Souwer. His favorite strike is the low kick, and the most valuable lesson he has learned is humility and inner strength, which he believes make a true champion.
Sanabria admits that his most unforgettable fight was his debut at Rajadamnern Stadium – in the main event of the evening, after a brutal weight cut and minimal rest, but with a knockout victory.
“That was a moment I will never forget – it was all worth it.”
Among his goals is to keep facing the best fighters in the world, and his victory at SENSHI remains one of his proudest achievements.
Outside the gym, Nicolas is cheerful and calm. He loves video games, spends time with his family, and believes they are what keep him mentally balanced.
“The darkest hour is just before dawn – that motivates me to always move forward, even in difficult times. Never give up – that’s my advice to young fighters.”
Regarding his upcoming fight at SENSHI 29, the Colombian is confident:
“It’s going to be a war! Expect an explosive fight full of energy and passion. I will give everything I have – for the fans, for my team, and for SENSHI. This is the best show in the world!”
On December 6, Varna will feel the fire of Nicolas Sanabria – a fighter who doesn’t just enter the ring, but ignites it.
