Experience the ancient art of Iaido

Experience the ancient art of Iaido at the XVIII International Summer Camp Kamchia from June 30th to July 7th, 2024. Immerse yourself in the graceful and precise movements of Japanese swordsmanship as you learn the techniques of drawing, striking, and sheathing a sword with fluidity and control.

Our Iaido training sessions offer a unique opportunity to delve into the rich tradition of the samurai warriors. Led by experienced instructors, participants will explore the fundamental principles of Iaido, focusing on posture, breath control, and mental focus.

Iaido, the traditional Japanese art of drawing, cutting, and resheathing the katana, embodies precision, efficiency, and mental focus. Iaidoka, practitioners of this art, wield real or replica swords in solo practice, emphasizing correct form and fluid movement.

In line with the KWU International Professional League’s mission to honor Kyokushin’s heritage, Iaido mirrors its commitment to mental fortitude. Both arts demand smooth, focused motions and steadfast stability.

Suitable for individuals of various ages and fitness levels, Iaido offers a practice tailored to personal intensity preferences. As the old saying goes, mastery in Iaido renders confrontation unnecessary, reflecting the ethos of Kyokushin where diligent practice ensures adversaries think twice before challenging you.

Join us at the XVIII International Summer Camp Kamchia 2024 and discover the beauty and discipline of Iaido amidst the serene surroundings of Kamchia, Bulgaria.
