Viktor Krashevski ahead of SENSHI 30: I will show my best and return as a champion

The international fight gala SENSHI 30 will take place on February 28, starting at 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EST/ at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria. Fans will also witness the first-ever Grand Prix tournament in the up to 75 kg division. Tickets for the spectacular combat sports event are available at Eventim.bg.

“I can’t wait, I’m counting the days. I’m confident in myself and feel perfect both mentally and physically. I’m simply waiting to show the best of myself and return to Sofia as a champion,” said five-time Bulgarian kickboxing champion Viktor Krashevski in an interview for the TV show Bulgaria Morning.

His opponent, Aibek Amanov from Kazakhstan, is a seasoned fighter, a two-time finalist and champion of the SENSHI World Cup. “Last time he defeated Petar Stoykov, but I am confident. I know I’m the stronger opponent and I will prevail,” Krashevski added in an interview for Bulgaria ON AIR.

“Preparation went perfectly. The strategy will be revealed in the fight—I won’t give anything away. My coach Stanislav Bahchevanov and I always prepare in the most realistic way possible. We work not only on speed and power, but on combinations that really work, and the most important part of my preparation is done with him,” explained the five-time kickboxing champion. Krashevski already has experience competing at major events on short notice, but this time he has dedicated a month and a half to preparation ahead of the biggest challenge of his sports career.

“When you chase a knockout, it doesn’t come, and if you aim only to win on points, the fight becomes boring. I’m going in to give 100% without thinking about the result—it will be a victory, but my goal is to deliver the best possible performance. I train twice a day all year round, but the week before a competition is always the lightest in terms of preparation,” he added.

A video of the full interview with the talented Bulgarian kickboxer, who will take part in the Grand Prix tournament at SENSHI 30, is available on the website of Bulgaria ON AIR.
