Strong Start to the Third SENSHI Invitational Training Camp

32 fighters from 13 countries gathered in Varna, Bulgaria to train together in a special camp for the lighter weight divisions

With intense training sessions and a strong international presence, the first day of the third SENSHI Invitational Training Camp officially began on January 21 at SENSHI GYM in Varna, Bulgaria, running until January 25. A total of 32 professional fighters from 13 countries are taking part in the camp, including 11 local athletes, once again reaffirming Bulgaria’s leading role in the world of combat sports. The fighters will exchange knowledge gained in combat schools in 13 European countries – Italy, France, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Greece, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Portugal, and Bulgaria.

Under the guidance of legendary Dutch instructors Albert Kraus and Andy Souwer, fighters from the lighter weight categories will go through eight intensive training sessions focused on technique, timing, tactical thinking, and conditioning. Already on the first day at SENSHI GYM, participants demonstrated strong concentration, professionalism, and high motivation to further improve their fighting skills.

Andy Souwer advised the fighters to follow the instructions closely and to practice every new combination: “The SENSHI camp is an excellent opportunity for you. When working in pairs, help each other and correct your partner during execution. This camp is the right place to build upon your skills, develop yourself and become better fighters. Make the most of it,” he said.

An interesting fact is that former opponents from different SENSHI editions are now training side by side, sharing experience and knowledge in a unified training environment. Among them are Atanas Bozhilov and his former rivals Adrian Madalin, Rocky Grandjean, and Samo Petje. Dragomir Petrov will train alongside Andrej Kedves, while former opponents Daniele Valente and Petar Stoykov, Giannis Eminov and Diyan Dimitrov, Marius Cimpoeru and Zhulien Rikov, Nikola Cvetkovic and Constantin Rusu, as well as Ognyan Mirchev and Uros Neskovic, will test how much they have progressed since their last encounters.

The third SENSHI Invitational Training Camp represents an important stage in the preparation of the participants for their upcoming bouts in the first half of 2026, and for some of them, for the next edition of the international fight gala, SENSHI 30, which will take place on February 28 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria.
