Konstantin Stoykov before SENSHI 30: I’m Ready to Take the Belt

Konstantin Stoykov is ready for battle at the first Grand Prix tournament in the under-75 kg category of the international SENSHI circuit. During his intensive preparation period, he took the time to give an interview to the sports news portal Sportal.bg.

The fighter from Varna will give everything he has to delight the home crowd at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Bulgaria’s seaside capital by achieving three victories in a single evening. On February 28, the athlete from sports club Dream will step into the SENSHI ring for the circuit’s landmark 30th edition.

The 22-year-old kickboxer will compete in a Grand Prix tournament featuring seven other fighters in the main bouts of the evening, along with four additional competitors in the reserve fights.

Another Bulgarian fighter, Zhulien Rikov, is also part of the main tournament bracket. In the studio of Sportal Fight Club, Stoykov stated that it makes no difference to him whether he faces a foreign opponent or a compatriot. His goals remain the same against any adversary — victory and an exciting spectacle for the fans. All supporters who wish to cheer him on can purchase tickets for the event via Eventim.bg.

The kickboxer, who has 11 professional bouts behind him, said that he is training twice a day for this tournament and is approaching his nutrition and mental preparation with responsibility and professionalism. For Stoykov, a complete triumph at the SENSHI Grand Prix would represent the greatest achievement of his career to date, and he is ready to endure the pain and put in the necessary work to reach his goal.
