Exclusive SENSHI Heavyweight Camp Takes Place in Varna

Ernesto Hoost and Semmy Schilt to train 14 selected fighters from 8 countries at SENSHI Gym – Varna until March 22

From March 18 to 22, 2026, Varna is hosting the fourth selective invitation-only training camp of the international fight promotion SENSHI. The camp is specifically organized for selected fighters competing in the middleweight and heavyweight divisions (85+ kg). A total of 14 elite athletes from 7 countries – Germany, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Cameroon, and Bulgaria – have been invited to participate.

Leading the training process are two of the biggest names in world kickboxing – four-time K-1 champions Ernesto Hoost and Shihan Semmy Schilt. They are working directly with the selected group of fighters, sharing their extensive top-level experience at the SENSHI Gym training facility.

Among the specially invited participants are the SENSHI European Champion in the 90 kg division Eduard Aleksanyan, as well as Romanian heavyweight standouts Marius Munteanu and Florin Ivanoaie. Other notable names include WAKO PRO world champions Nikola Stosic and Aleksandar Konovalov from Serbia, representing the strength of the Balkan fighting school.

Also taking part in the fourth SENSHI selection camp are Daniel Dinev, Kostadin Kardzhaliyski, and Kristiyan Doychev (Bulgaria). Additional fighters preparing at the heavyweight SENSHI camp include Agon Bellaqa (Germany), Ludovico Toia (Italy), Alin Cimpan and Lucian Fatul (Romania), Alexandros Chrysochoidis (Greece), and Loic Njeya (Cameroon).

The program features a total of eight training sessions, sparring bouts, and practical knowledge exchange between fighters and instructors. The main focus is on developing strength, coordination, technical skills, and strategic thinking among athletes competing in the heavier divisions.

Ernesto Hoost, known as “Mr. Perfect,” holds multiple world titles in kickboxing, savate, and Muay Thai, and is a member of the KWU SENSHI Board of Directors. Shihan Semmy Schilt is one of the most successful fighters in K-1 history, with four K-1 Grand Prix titles, three King of Pancrase championships, and two Kudo world titles. He is also President of KWU SENSHI Europe and a member of the organization’s board.

Under the guidance of the legendary representatives of the Dutch fighting school, Hoost and Schilt, participants undergo an intensive four-day training program. The specialized training modules focus on refining fighting technique, tactics, and physical endurance—key components for success in professional competition. This is the fourth SENSHI camp of its kind, held on an invitation-only basis and bringing together 14 proven professional fighters from 7 countries.

The event further strengthens Bulgaria’s position as an established hub for combat sports development and confirms SENSHI as a leading platform for high-level international sports training.
