XX International Summer Camp 2026: Full Information Now Available

The organizers KWU SENSHI and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF) officially announce all details for the XX International Summer Camp, which will take place from 5 to 12 July 2026 at Kamchia, Bulgaria, located 34 km south of Varna.

The International Summer Camp is included in the official international calendar of BKKF and continues the long-standing tradition of bringing together elite athletes, coaches, judges, and instructors from all over the world for a week of intensive training, education, competitions, and examinations.

• Objectives of the Camp

The XX International Summer Camp is organized with the following main objectives:

• Strengthening friendship and cooperation between international organizations
• Raising the technical and competitive level of participants
• Improving the professional qualifications of coaches and judges
• Conducting kyu and dan examinations under the new style qualification system

Participation is open to athletes over 14 years of age, with a minimum rank of 6 kyu, who are prize winners from national or international tournaments.

Dates: 05–12 July 2026

Venue: Kamchia, Bulgaria (34 km south of Varna)

• 05 July – Arrival of delegations and general meeting
• 06–11 July – Training days, seminars, and competitions
• 12 July – Departure of delegations

The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule depending on the number of participants.

• Camp Program Highlights

During the camp, participants will take part in:

• Daily Kyokushin karate and kickboxing training sessions
• Judges’ seminars and credentials committees
• Iaido training sessions

Special competitive events included in the camp program:

• 07 July – World Cup Varna for Juniors & Cadets (14–15, 16–17, 18–21 years)
• 09 July – KWU SENSHI World Cup Amateurs – Preliminary fights
• 10 July – KWU SENSHI World Cup Amateurs – Semi-finals
• 11 July – Kyu/Dan examinations | KWU SENSHI World Cup Amateurs Finals | SENSHI Gala

Financial conditions:
The organizers will provide:

• To all competitors in the WORLD CUP VARNA – one coach per organization, one national country representative per organization (only if he/she participate in the judging brigades) – accommodation, food and transfers from and to the airport Varna (05.07.2026 Varna airport – Kamchia, 12.07.2026 Kamchia – Varna airport).
• For XX International Summer Camp participants – transfers from and to Varna air-port (05.07.2026 Varna airport – Kamchia, 12.07.2026 Kamchia – Varna airport).

Participants in the XX International Summer Camp are required to contact with a representative to make their reservation and pay in advance their stay.

• World Cup Varna 2026

Date: 07 July 2026

Location: Kamchia, Bulgaria

Categories: Juniors (14–15), Juniors (16–17), Cadets (18–21)

Chief Referee: Shihan Francisco Filho, 7th dan

There is no participation fee for World Cup Varna. Champions and prize-winners will receive medals, diplomas, cups, and cash prizes in the cadet categories. Anti-doping control will be conducted in accordance with WADA regulations.

Awards – Cadets (18–21 years)

Champions and prize-winners (1st–4th place) in the 18–21 years age category are awarded medals, diplomas, cups, and cash prizes, as follows:

Men

1st place: €5,000

2nd place: €3,500

3rd place: €2,000

4th place: €1,000

Women

1st place: €3,500

2nd place: €2,500

3rd place: €1,500

4th place: €1,000

KWU SENSHI World Cup Amateurs – for men aged 18 years and older, holding a minimum qualification of 4th kyu in Karate Kyokushin.

Competition dates: 08–11 July 2026.

All participants will receive financial remuneration according to the following scheme:

First fight (Qualification round):

• €1,000 – win

• €500 – loss

Second fight (Semi-final):

• €1,500 – win

• €1,000 – loss

Third fight (Final):

• €2,000 – win

• €1,000 – loss
