The Future of Martial Arts – Hiroki Enters the Ring

The next generation of martial artists is already stepping into the spotlight—and Hiroki is a name to watch closely.

Representing IBMA Kyokushin Kaikan (Sagamihara Branch) and TS-AKT (TS Akira Combat Team), Hiroki is set to compete in an upcoming kickboxing bout in Japan. According to the official fight card, he will take part in a Flyweight match (50.8 kg, 3 rounds), facing Sora Yokoo (横尾 空)—a significant opportunity at this early stage of his competitive career.

At IBMA Kyokushin Kaikan, the philosophy of martial arts development extends beyond traditional karate. Kickboxing is actively promoted alongside Kyokushin, providing young fighters with broader technical skills, ring experience, and tactical awareness. Under the guidance of Sensei Aoki, Hiroki trains seriously in kickboxing while also contributing to karate instruction at the dojo—an impressive responsibility for someone his age.

Despite still being a high school student, Hiroki already embodies the true spirit of a martial artist. He is kind-hearted, respectful, disciplined, and strong both physically and mentally. His character reflects the core values of Kyokushin: humility, perseverance, and constant self-improvement.

Hiroki’s upcoming appearance in the ring represents more than a single fight—it symbolizes the future of martial arts, where tradition and modern combat sports develop side by side, guided by strong leadership and values.

This achievement and milestone were proudly shared by Akira Masuda, who published the announcement on his official Facebook profile, showing his continued support for the next generation of fighters and the ongoing evolution of Kyokushin-based combat athletes.

We sincerely thank everyone for their continued encouragement and support.

Those wishing to attend the match are welcome to contact us through the IBMA Kyokushin Kaikan official website, where assistance with spectator ticket arrangements will be provided.
