The International Summer Martial Arts Camp Marks 20 Years of Tradition

The anniversary XX edition of the International Summer Martial Arts Camp will take place from July 5 to 12, 2026, at the Kamchia resort complex, located near Varna, Bulgaria. The event is jointly organized by KWU SENSHI and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF) and celebrates two decades of tradition in the development of martial arts at an international level.

The camp has established itself as one of the most prestigious events in the combat sports calendar, bringing together more than 2,000 elite athletes, coaches, referees, and instructors from around the world. The main objectives of the initiative are to promote international cooperation, raise the technical and competitive level of participants, and contribute to the professional development of coaches and referees.

The camp program includes intensive training days from July 6 to 11, featuring daily Kyokushin karate and kickboxing sessions, refereeing seminars, and specialized Iaido training.

A major highlight of the anniversary edition will be the accompanying competitions and tournaments. On July 7, the World Cup “Varna” for juniors and cadets in Kyokushin karate will take place. From July 9 to 11, the third edition of the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs will be held under the official rules of the host organization. Qualification bouts are scheduled for July 9 and the semi-finals for July 10. The culmination of the fight week will be on July 11 with the Amateur World Cup finals and the spectacular professional gala fight night SENSHI 32 Grand Prix in Middleweight division.

Arrival of participants is scheduled for July 5, with departures on July 12. Registration for the International camps, and Kyokushin, and Amareurs tournaments is open until June 1, 2026. The applications should be submitted via the official e-mails published on the organizers’ website: www.kwusenshi.com.

With its 2026 anniversary edition, the International Summer Martial Arts Camp in Varna, Bulgaria, further strengthens its position as a key platform for knowledge exchange, talent development, and the global promotion of martial arts.
