The 3rd KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs to Take Place in Varna This July

The third edition of the prestigious KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs will be held from July 8 to 11, 2026, in Varna, Bulgaria. The event is part of the anniversary 20th International Summer Martial Arts Camp 2026, taking place from July 5 to 12, bringing together some of the best fighters and coaches from around the world.

The World Cup offers an exceptional opportunity for competitors over the age of 18, holding at least a 4th kyu in Kyokushin karate, to test their skills on one of the most prestigious international stages in martial arts. Participation is aimed at ambitious karate practitioners ready to demonstrate spirit, technique, and endurance in full-contact bouts.

The program of the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs 2026 begins on July 8 with athlete registration and continues from July 9 to 11, which are the main competition days. The best fighters who reach the finals will have the honor and privilege on July 11 to step into the professional ring of the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix, where the winners in the different weight divisions will be determined.

The registration deadline for the World Cup is June 1, 2026, with priority given to Kyokushin karate competitors willing to compete at a high level. Applications with completed registration forms should be submitted via email to: senshi_bulgaria@abv.bg.

The organizers from the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union have provided substantial financial incentives for participants in the World Cup, distributed across the three stages of the competition:

  • Qualifiers: €1000 for a win / €500 for a loss
  • Semi-finals: €1500 for a win / €1000 for a loss
  • Finals: €2000 for a win / €1000 for a loss

In addition to the opportunity for significant cash prizes, trophies, and prestigious awards, the tournament offers international recognition, valuable competitive experience, and a pathway for development in the professional fighting scene.

The KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs 2026 promises to be one of the most memorable events in this year’s martial arts calendar for ambitious fighters. The organizers invite all well-prepared and motivated athletes from different countries and continents to join the tournament and take on the challenge of the summer.
