From February 20 to 22, 2026, the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais (Brazil) hosted an intensive SENSHI Kickboxing Course led by Shihan Francisco Filho, one of the leading figures of the KWU SENSHI organization and a legendary name in Kyokushin Karate.
The three-day training program provided participants with a complete immersion in the SENSHI Kickboxing system, focusing on the technical, physical, and strategic aspects that define the discipline. The course deepened the understanding of the system’s fighting concepts, training methodology, and martial philosophy.
A total of 22 athletes from Varginha took part in the course, demonstrating strong dedication and commitment throughout the training sessions. Over the program, participants challenged themselves physically and technically, pushing their limits and significantly improving their skills.
Beyond technical development, many athletes reported that the experience brought valuable lessons not only for martial arts practice but also for their personal lives, reinforcing the educational and character-building values of martial arts.
The course concluded with a SENSHI Kickboxing grading examination, during which nine athletes successfully earned new ranks within the system, with the support and participation of Sensei Rafael Pereira Lima.
With the completion of this training program, the city of Varginha strengthened its commitment to the growth and development of SENSHI Kickboxing, contributing to the continued expansion of the system and the strengthening of the KWU SENSHI community in Brazil and beyond.
